Mildred's comes to Camden - Vegan/Vegetarian
We had a great meal at Mildred's in Camden at the weekend - http://www.mildreds.co.uk/#!home-camden/cunr
I've wanted to go to Mildred's in Soho for quite some time but it's never worked out because you can't book. With the Camden restaurant, you can book, which makes life a lot easier.
The table had:
- black bean and tomatillo rice buritto with ranchero sauce and grilled cheese (vegan option), smashed avocado, sour cream and pico de gallo
- stir fried vegetables in shiitake, mirin, chilli, garlic and ginger with brown rice, tofu and toasted cashews
-sri lankan sweet potato curry with roasted lime cashews, pea basmati rice and coconut tomato sambal
- Mushroom and ale pie with chips and peas
I would highly recommend the restaurant, although if you're looking for something intimate, this might not be the joint to go for as the music is quite loud (but funky).
