Happy New Year 2015 to everyone who uses this site!

What IS happiness? How do we regain and retain a 'deep sense of flourishing' after cancer diagnosis? It is very well known that happy people tend to live longer- it was the novice Edward Bach when he trained in hospital who noticed that it was the PERSONALITY of each patient which affected the course of their disease...I was considered quite a quaint person to use these remedies 40 years ago-now Rescue Remedy is sold in the high street chemist store...

If you're really considering the cultivation of happiness (vital I think for our 'after lives' following diagnosis), do have a read of this book, generously donated to the internet community by Matthieu Riccard- I've read some of it already, some of it went over familiar territory, but it's quite a page turner too--has had rave reviews as well, as you will see at the beginning-worth a look?-
