Essential Oils and Cancer:
Using Essential Oils in Daily Body
Care to Repair Hormone Chaos,
Rebuild the Immune System, and
Prevent the Growth of Cancer
Book Two
Nancy Dennett Ducharme

In her second book Mrs. Ducharme makes the reader aware of many potential pitfalls of everyday life that could adversely affect our immune system functions and ultimately our health.

The book is divided into two parts.

During the first part the reader is taken on a quick journey taking stock of major causes of serious depleting impacts on the strength of our natural defences. Mrs. Ducharme takes us into the familiar territory of everyday life and how some foods, cosmetic products and even medical products could adversely affect the function of our immune system, due to the effects of hormone disruptors for example. Her warm hearted style in presenting difficult information never has the reader left feeling out in the cold, despite a cart load of new information to some.

In the second half of the book the author has created and presents a recipe section for many body care products, that bring their beneficial effects to bear on the skin, the dental arena and for proper digestive action and toxin removal from the body. The reasons and applications for these 40 plus preparations are abundantly explained without flooding the reader, new to this subject, with too much specialist terminology.

In summary Mrs. Ducharme has managed to provide a veritable and important companion to her profoundly uplifting first book on essential oils in the management of cancer and it's prevention. It also serves as a first aid resource in any household to expand the knowledge base for anybody dealing with everyday problems. The author manages to put a convincing case that the majority of tumours develop out of the comfort zone of our everyday experience of life (environmental causes) and it's established habits. It inspires hope and comfort, in the knowledge that anybody suffering with this condition is being offered a fighting chance to regain self control in an often chaotic and seemingly hopeless situation.

Last not least, this book would also make a good gift by well meaning friends and relatives to anybody suffering with this condition.

I also have a book or 2 on essential oils and have had the best experiences with them.

When I discovered that mine was a very dysfunctional marriage I developed some real anger issues. Anger from doing without almost all human kindness and touch, anger at myself for being so weak I married someone I KNEW was broken just so I would not be alone etc! Along comes essential oils and I learned of Marjoram (sweet/wild)

and its helpfulness with anger issues, unrequited love and misdirected sexual energies.
What a nice breakthrough for myself and my marriage. I do get something from the union and feel an obligation to stay and now have a gift to help keep my emotional sanity!

Back to "Aromatherapy and Cancer" CANCER is the health blight in my family I have watched (or heard of) many relatives succumb to it's treatments and suddenly my own siblings, my generation! were caught up in it. As a watcher I have learned so much of the emotional aspect and suffering that brings cancer on us or makes us handle it so badly. I knew my sister married the same sort man (emotionally) and had given her a bottle of Marjoram to see if it would help but not until she was going through Chemo the same time as my Bro-in-law did she finally see it's power for good.

Though she was the hostess (and fellow chemo sufferer) to my other sister's hubby while he went through his chemo he was driven to come "home" each session with a huge chip on his shoulder whining, complaining and grousing at everyone.

After a visit where I witnessed it firsthand I just wanted to do anything possible to give her a break from his torments. I pitied the man but my first loyalty was to my sister, the loving caregiver and hostess to this "elephant with thorn". After finding she still had a (never used) bottle of marjoram

I suggested we smear it lightly all around his favorite chair, bathroom and his bed linens.
We all stayed busy so as to not make him suspicious and after his nap we joined him on the porch where we all would sit for coffee/tea and chat. Not a negative peep out of my Bro-in-law the rest of the day and into the night! Same the next day! You could have sold this essential oil by the box at this point :)

This same bottle would provide an amazing break-through for my sister later the same year. Let me know if this is not TMI for you.

It will take a while to study up on the herbal oil site you added at the end, the few I have looked at are pretty amazing. I did notice Dr Mercola didn't list Castor oil in that grouping but it is another gift of nature useful for cancer healing and he has a separate article about it so anyone who needs to can learn more... http://articles.mercola.com/sites/artic ... tions.aspx
