Can we use art to become curators of our souls?

This includes meditation practices as well as music, song, dance, poetry and laughter as medicine.

Can we use art to become curators of our souls?

Art as medicine too—or as Alain de Botton has said earlier ‘apothecaries for our deeper selves’—he says while we may in terms of music consider ourselves ‘DJs of our own souls’ , we don’t use art in this way.

Yet images have the most powerful effect on the brain too, images can help us recover hope, laugh and wonder at the world when we think we have lost our sense of joy-this can especially apply to those who have had a cancer diagnosis and struggle to recover a sense of hope and potential that feels lost never to be found again...

Read what de Botton has to say, collect your own favourite images, surround yoruself with images that speak to you--don't deny your sorrows but allow them, until you feel pointed (and painted) into a brighter direction --
