You're an athlete now!

You’re an athlete now...

This way of eating to keep you happy and strong--this training if you like-- has some similarities with an athlete’s training-if you think of it that way it can become a challenge not a drag & you can enjoy it more when you’re feeling it’s too much to keep up—Just back from New York city (vegan heaven-even vegan food trucks in the streets!) and saw Paul Brady at a gig at the City Winery-awesome voice, as he says in this song below ‘the world is what you make it...’

Keep on keeping on!

While it may be a truism, it's because it's true as well-the more you exercise any muscle & that includes your willpower to change your diet, get out of your old comfort zone (good for the brain, to open up new neural pathways), you'll feel, even if gradually, an increased sense of exhilaration and strength- and this will increase exponentially-so you're working with your body to enhance its strength, its immunity, its integrity- find others who are doing this too, and together you can change...exciting stuff. Now you have a full-time job in the Office of Healing- and the power of the mind is awesome- see post on The value of Expectation on the Research forum... Just never give up, and there's a post elsewhere on the site about this- a Vietnam Vet who could hardly walk--after a couple of years of keeping on keeping on he was RUSHING past the camera...so much is possible,,,
